If you have been too busy to catch the Holiday spirit – like some of the incredibly busy staff of KRWG – join us Wednesday evening at the KRWG El Paso Brass Concert. The annual event will begin at 7:00pm at the Rio Grande Theatre.
In addition to the great music, the group always exhibits a delightful sense of humor. Curt Warren will join Jim Shearer, Kenny Capshaw, Allan Kaplan, Rick Lambrech and Sam Trimble on stage for the special evening.
Call 646-2222 for tickets and save a few dollars! Adult tickets in advance are $15.00. They will be available at the door for $20.00. Reduced tickets for children 6-18 are $7.50 and 6 and under can join the event for free. Our good friends at the Enchanted Garden also have pre-show tickets for sale.

Also, I don’t know if you heard Jim Shearer this morning on Morning Edition. He has worked with Carrie Hamblen to produce some great segments on the history of Jazz.
KRWG is an active partner in the Las Cruces-wide two month celebration of Jazz. In addition to programming on FM and TV, we are bringing the radio show Riverwalk (Saturdays at 8p) Jim Cullum Band to the Recital Hall on January 23.
