I guess I really am a geek at heart! I have been loving the Nova Science Now series this last few weeks with Dr. Neil deGrasse Tyson. And sure enough, the next two Wednesdays are scheduled with some intriguing programs.
On Wednesday, February 16 we will explore the theme "Where did we come from?" and I bet the answer isn't "Indianapolis" like that old joke. If he holds true to form, it will be an around-the-world (or at least around-the-country) visit to sites and scientists to see the latest and greatest in technology-influenced anthropology.

Then on Wednesday, February 23, the theme is "What's the Next Big Thing?" I have been addicted to Analog Science Fiction/Science Fact for decades now, and though I don't begin to qualify as a practicing scientist, I do wade through their articles just because it is so exciting to discover that we actually are approaching sci-fi dreams by way of already-working replicators and other "gee whiz" technology. I won't miss this one, and I hope you don't, either.
