The week of April 11-15, 2010 Volunteers assisted KRWG staff raise money to support the FM Spring membership drive and goal of $105,000. Tuesday morning the volunteer group, the “Rowdy Bunch” was at their usual “Rowdy” nature fielding numerous calls of support for radio. During one stretch the “Rowdy Bunch” took 45 calls of support to meet and surpass a member challenge of $2,500. The member challenge was made up of several FM members who contributed toward the $2,500. Overall, the “Rowdy Bunch” raised $7,302 during Morning Edition toward the $105,000 overall goal.
