What a night!
The Jim Cullum Band Concert last night found over 400 of us doing a ton of toe tapping at the Atkinson Recital Hall! An almost packed house and great music made for some special moments for of us.
About 100 made it over to the Ramada Palms de Las Cruces reception to casually chat with the Band members. When I finally left at 10:45pm folks were still enjoying meeting Jim Cullum and his fellow musicians.
There are a lot of people to thank. Ford Ballard and Bre Corson did a great job of getting everything rolling. Quinones Design Build, The Preston Contemporary Art Center and Connie Lee, Financial Advisor at Edward Jones all jumped on board with sponsorships to help bring the band in from San Antonio. Jim Shearer has done a spectacular job of putting the entire Jam Session Celebration together.
