My thanks to all who helped out last night with the TV pledge. One week to go and we are ahead of where we were the past two years in March. Keep fingers crossed.
Many of you may know Mitch Albom as the author of Tuesdays with Morrie. One of the joys of living in Bowling Green, Ohio was reading his work in the Detroit Free Press on a regular basis. Below is a piece that was in this weekend’s editions concerning the events at NPR last week.
We know that some will not let the comments go away. However, we are also finding friends who believe there is still a place for real journalism. I believe that is why many of us are proud to work in public media and support the quality programming that meets our mission.
